CULTURAL WORKSHOPS HELD BY CARABINA FILMES
WORKSHOP MULTIMEDIA THEATER AND THE FUTURE
Workshop on the use of new media in theater, focusing on audiovisual and the limits and restrictions of its use, its known forms and the infinite possibilities not yet explored or tried. The workshop presents a history of the use of new media in theater, debates on its forms and possibilities, a technical study of equipment and projection surfaces and a practical exercise in filming and projections, recorded and live.
FILM AND VIDEO PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Four cinema and video production workshops were offered, carried out by Carabina Filmes, in Belo Horizonte/MG.
Three videos were produced as a result of the workshops:
- January 2003 - short film "Veloriando", Script and general direction by Jünia Costa;
- July 2003 - short film "Elza Geralda", Script and general direction by Laly Cataguases;
- January 2004 - short film "Procura-se", script and general direction by Daniel Roscoe;
- november 2016 - short film "Presente", collectively directed by the students.
Two other workshops were held in the interior of Minas. One in Araponga/MG, resulting in the video "Assombração" with collective direction and another in Grão Mogol/MG, resulting in the video "De Grão em Grão" with direction by Frederico Maciel.
